Bahrain: Shaky at the moment

My husband and I were just in Bahrain these days. We worked there for a couple of years, but lately, it's been a bit shakier than before.

As you may have seen on the news, there are some protests against the government. These protests have sometimes been fiercely fought against, and, my husband and I refrained from going outside during these times.

However, Bahrainis, in general, are generous people. If you make friends with some of them, you will be only amazed by their genuine sense of hospitality.

As I stated before, due to these issues, my husband's company decided to pull us out the count out of abundance of precaution...

If you do get to go there for work, or leisure, just exercise extra caution...
